Roosje Klap

Exquisite Gunpowder City 16 Shot was an extensive four month-residency project at the Chinese European Art Center in Xiamen, China. The project focuses around implosion and explosion as well as destruction vs. construction, as a reaction to modern-day frenzy in global architecture. This intervention at a ready-for-demolishing fishermans' village put the finger on the ugly spot, giving an immediate call for debate.
