Basic Instincts is a multidisciplinary exhibition, showcasing contemporary, directional visions in Dutch fashion culture. The exhibition maps a range of ideas that originate in fashion but border on and interact with other disciplines. The Dutch design climate encourages crossovers and experimentation. Basic Instincts’ emphasis on inter- and multidisciplinarity shows how Dutch fashion culture serves as a breeding ground for an open, creative mentality. The curating of the exhibition was done by Parisian duo MoSign, the set design was signed by Henrik Vibskov and creative consulting by Zoo Magazine. The exhibition was on show in Villa Elisabeth, Berlin from 30 June until 30 July 2011. Roosje Klap made the identity, campaign and signing for this exhibition.
