Design Displacement Group
A non-hierarchical design collective
consisting of 15 designers
In 2014, Roosje Klap initiated a collective called Design Displacement Group.
DDG explores the future of design, both in practice and in thought, by claiming imaginative fictional design territory. DDG wants to open the field of design (thinking) and the conservation of design today.
The collective DDG consists of fifteen designers and one social scientist from various disciplines, levels, cultures and nationalities, collaborating on different, often self-initiated, projects in changing compositions. Our design methodology should therefore be understood as collective and post-signature.
