Commissioned by
De Rijksakademie
van Beeldende Kunsten

2012

After after the dramatic cultural cuts, ordered by the Dutch Ministery for Culture in 2012, the Rijksakademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam came in heavy economical weather and looked at an uncertain future. This resulted in a newspaper that wanted to show both its' protest and the support that they received from all over the international art world.

The typography used is a mix of type by one of our favorite type designers, Roger Excoffon, like Vendome and Mistral in combination with Univers. Mostly it is used 'condensed', in order not to loose any of the precious space on the paper, and printed in black, with adding some colored pictures here and there on simple copy paper, then folded in a banderolle.

A3, folded to A4
