The exhibition  is a showcase of the history of haute couture, alongside creations by today’s top couturiers. Renowned fashion houses like Dior, Chanel, Christian Lacroix and Jean Paul Gaultier have lend a number of exclusive couture creations from their latest collections, fresh from the catwalk, and never before seen in the Netherlands.

Visitors are able to admire close by the details that make these garments so unique: the sumptuous fabrics, unparalleled embroidery, the cut. In short: all the skills of Parisian couture. These are the same facts that we focus on in the catalogue: the details fabrics just jump off the page. For the show Haute Couture: Voici Paris! we did not only make the book but the posters, banners, invitations and folders as well. The whole package evolves around Marc de Groots' photographs that we did on the Paris streets. On show until June 6, 2010

And moreover… the exhibition was designed by Maarten Spruyt, we also worked together on Woman By (Centraal Museum) and The Ideal Man (Gemeentemuseum).
