For TextielLab, the specialized textile workshop at the Audax Textile Museum in Tilburg, we have been lucky to have made this years’ Yearbook. We have made a modern variant of the oldfashioned traditional Dutch “merklap” – stitching type and illustrations together which are printed on several papertypes. This emphasizes the conceptual difference between origin and design and gives the reader the possibility to have a close look on the beautiful designs that are made within the experimental TextielLab. The book has been be presented at the Salone di Mobile 2011 in Milan.
